Jason Covert picks up Gene VanMeter Memorail on Deane Guy Masonry Night

Deane Guy Masonry hosted the events on Friday Night June 21,2019 at Potomac Speedway in the five division program.
Jason Covert and Dale Hollidge filled the front row leading the field to the green flag in the 35 lap Gene VanMeter Memorail on Deane Guy Masonry Night. Covert jumped to the top spot on the start and never looked back. Only one caution flew to slow the field. Dale Hollidge crossed second, Darryl Hills third, Jamie Lathroum fourth and rounding out the top five was Andy Anderson. This was Covert's first trip to the speedway this season.
In the 16 lap Street Stock race it was P.J. Hatcher picking up the win, Hatcher who has been absent from the racing scene for 5 years showed he still has it.Hatcher would lead all 16 circuits and pick up his first win of the season. Current points leader Marty Hanbury crossed second, and Jeremy Pilkerton picked up the third spot.
In the 15 lap Hobbystock main event it was Buddy Dunagan picking up the win.Jonathan Knott took the early lead from the green but got alittle out of shape coming off turn two and Dunagan slipped by. Mikey Latham crossed second, Greg Morgan third, Kyle Nelson fourth and rounding out the top five was Colin Long
John Hardesty picked up the win in the 15 lap Strictly Stock main event over Nabil Guffey. Joshua Martinson crossed third, Daniel Knodle fourth and fifth went to J.J Silivious
In the 15 lap Ucar main event it was Savannah Windsor picking up the win over Cody Stamp. Dominic King third, Ryan Quade fourth and fifth went to Kyle Randall
